Ein eleganter katana signiert von Fujiwara Yoshiyuki der Takada-Schule in Bungo. Die Klinge zeigt ein würdevolles shinogi-zukuri Profil mit sanfter Krümmung und einem lebhaften, wellenden notare-ko-midare hamon. Die Schmiedearbeit ist straff und gleichmäßig über das ji, was die robuste, praktische Ästhetik widerspiegelt, für die Bungo Takada bewundert wird. Das Schwert wird mit NBTHK Hozon Zertifizierung begleitet.
Die Geometrie ist gesund mit einem gut geformten chu-kissaki und klarem boshi. Das nakago trägt eine saubere mei auf der omote und behält zwei mekugi-ana, was auf ein langes Serviceleben bei Beibehaltung der Integrität hindeutet. Insgesamt bleibt die Klinge in sehr gutem Zustand, geeignet für Sammlung und Studium.
Das Schwert ist in einer geschmackvollen koshirae mit abgestimmten blauen und dunkel patinierten Tönen montiert:
- Tsuba: Weichmetallplatte geschnitzt mit Vögeln und Blüten, hervorgehoben mit Vergoldung; ein raffiniertes, naturalistisches Thema.
- Fuchi-Kashira: Shakudō mit Goldakzenten; kashira verziert mit einem Halbmond- und springender Hase über Wellen Motiv; fuchi mit feiner Schnitzerei.
- Tsuka: Tiefblaue Seide ito über weißem samegawa; figürliche menuki sichtbar innerhalb der Rauten.
- Saya: Glänzend schwarze lackierte saya gepaart mit einem braunen sageo für eine klassische Präsentation.
- Habaki: Massiver kupferner habaki mit scharfen yasurime Feilemarkierungen.
Hintergrund des Schwertschmieds
Fujiwara Yoshiyuki arbeitete in Bungo (Toyoshū) innerhalb der renommierten Takada-Schule. Takada-Schmiede produzierten zuverlässige, scharfe Klingen, die während der Edo-Zeit bevorzugt wurden, und vereinigten Einflüsse von Yamashiro und Sōshū, um starke Schneideschwerter mit stabiler jigane und ruhigem notare-basiertem hamon zu schaffen. Werke signiert 「豊州高田住 (cut part : 藤原義行)」 werden für ihre ausgewogene Form und zuverlässige Handwerkskunst geschätzt.
Schulgeschichte
Die Takada-Schule bildete eine der produktivsten Linien Kyūshūs. Sie entstand im mittelalterlichen Bungo und setzte sich aktiv in der Edo-Zeit fort, lieferte robuste Schwerter, die für praktische Leistung geschätzt werden. Typische Merkmale sind saubere Schmiedearbeit, widerstandsfähige gehärtete Kanten in notare oder sanften midare, und konservative, wohlproportionierte sugata - Merkmale, die durch dieses Stück gut vertreten sind.

Shipping and Return
- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
