Ein verfeinerte katana mit NBTHK-Hozon-Zertifizierung und zugeordnet dem Schmied Ienaga aus Kashū (Provinz Kaga). Diese Klinge misst 61,1 cm in nagasa mit einer anmutigen 1,4 cm sori und praesentiert eine ausgewogene und klassische shinogi-zukuri-Silhouette. Der Griff (nakago) ist zaimei (signiert) und traegt die klare Inschrift "Ienaga saku", die von der Society for Preservation of Japanese Art Swords beglaubigt wurde.
Die Handwerkskunst spiegelt den Uebergang von der spaeten Muromachi in die fruehe Edo-Periode wider und zeigt eine lebendige hamon mit unregelmaessigem gunome. Die Stahloberflaeche zeigt ein dichtes itame-Korn, das fuer die Fujishima-Schule in der Kaga-Region charakteristisch ist und fuer ihre Widerstandsstaerke und funktionale Schoenheit bekannt ist.
Koshirae-Details
Dieses Schwert wird von einer wunderschoenen und zeitgenoessischen koshirae begleitet. Die saya ist in einem auffaelligen tiefrot strukturiertem Lack veredelt und bietet einen eleganten Kontrast zum dunklen tsuka-ito. Die tsuba ist eine Eisenarbeit mit aufwendiger goldfarbiger nunome-zogan (Auflage) mit Chrysanthemen-Motiv, ein Symbol fuer Langlebigkeit und Adel. Die gesamte Montierung ist gut erhalten und spiegelt den hohen Status und die Sorgfalt wider, die dieses Schwert ueber die Jahrhunderte erhalten hat.
Hintergrund des Schmieds
Ienaga war ein geschickter Schmied in der Fujishima-Schule, die urspruenglich von Yamashiro nach Kaga migrierte. Die Kashū-Schmiede waren hoch angesehen fuer ihre praktische Schneidfaehigkeit und waren die Primaerschwertmacher fuer den Maeda-Clan, eine der maechtigsten Daimyo-Familien in Japan. Das Werk von Ienaga wird fuer die Beibehaltung der traditionellen Aesthetik der Fujishima-Linie gefeiert, waehrend er sich den robusten Formen anpasste, die waehrend des turbulenten Uebergangs in die Edo-Periode erforderlich waren.
Schulgeschichte
Die Kashū (Kaga)-Schule ist eine der bedeutendsten regionalen Traditionen ausserhalb der primaeren "Gokaden" (Fuenf Traditionen). Sie wird durch einen "weisslichen" Stahl (shirake-utsuri) und eine Mischung aus Soushuu- und Mino-Stilen gekennzeichnet. Als zaimei (signiertes) Werk dient diese Klinge als eindeutiges Beispiel fuer die Kunstfertigkeit der Fujishima-Linie in der Hokuriku-Region und verbindet einen robusten gebrauchsfaehigen Charakter mit der Eleganz, die von der Samurai-Elite verlangt wurde.

- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
