Dies ist ein herrliches Katana, zertifiziert durch NBTHK Hozon, zugeschrieben der prestigeträchtigen Ishidō School. Mit einer beeindruckenden 71,0 cm nagasa und einer außergewöhnlich tiefen 2,2 cm sori zeigt diese Klinge eine anmutige, tachi-ähnliche Silhouette, die von hochrangigen samurai in der frühen Edo-Periode bevorzugt wurde. Die Klinge ist mumei (unsigniert), ein häufiges Vorkommen bei hochwertigen Klingen, die gekürzt (o-suriage) oder ursprünglich für Attribution mit hohem Status vorgesehen waren.
Die Ishidō Schmiedemeister waren berühmt für ihre Fähigkeit, die prächtigen Bizen-den Stile der Kamakura-Periode wiederzubeleben, besonders die prunkvolle Ichimonji Tradition. Diese Klinge zeigt diese Meisterschaft durch einen lebendigen und aktiven hamon, gekennzeichnet durch nelkenförmige (choji) Undulationen und eine klare, gesunde Stahlstruktur (jihada).
Koshirae Details
Das Schwert ist in einem raffinierten Satz traditioneller Montierungen untergebracht. Die saya ist in einem klassischen kuroro (tiefschwarzer polierter Lackierung) vollendet und bietet eine zeitlose und würdevolle Ästhetik. Das tsuka (Griff) ist mit einem ausgeprägten dunkelgrünen Seide ito über hochwertigem Rochenleder umwickelt.
Das tsuba ist ein eisernes sukashi (Durchbruchwerk) Design mit den Motiven der kaiserlichen Chrysantheme (Kiku) und Paulownie (Kiri), Symbole von Autorität und Ehre. Das kashira ist aus einer reichen Kupfer-Gold-Legierung (suaka oder shakudo) gefertigt und zeigt ein hochreliefartiges Abbild von Herbstgetreide oder Hirsestängeln, Symbole für eine reichliche Ernte und Wohlstand.
Hintergrund des Schwertschmieds
Die Ishidō School stammte ursprünglich aus der Provinz Omi, erlangte aber ihren größten Ruhm in Edo (heutiges Tokio) im 17. Jahrhundert. Als "Edo Ishidō" Linie bekannt, spezialisierten sich diese Schmiedemeister - einschließlich Meister wie Mitsuhira und Tsunemitsu - auf die Nachschaffung des komplexen, blütenartigen choji-midare hamon der antiken Bizen Meister. Ihre Arbeit war technisch so versiert, dass viele Ishidō Klingen historisch für authentische Kamakura-Ära Ichimonji Werke verwechselt wurden.
Schulgeschichte
Als Anführer der Bizen-den Wiederbelebung in der Shinto (Neuen Schwert) Ära verkörperte die Ishidō School den Höhepunkt der künstlerischen Schwertherstellung in der Hauptstadt des Shoguns. Ihre Klingen zeichnen sich durch eine Kombination aus visueller Pracht und robuster Konstruktion aus. Mit einer 2,2 cm Krümmung sticht dieses besondere Stück als ein außergewöhnlich elegantes Beispiel für die Produktion der Schule hervor und bietet die Präsenz einer Schlachtwaffe mit dem raffinierten Finish eines Kunstwerks.

Shipping and Return
- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.

Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
