Questo katana giapponese è una lama non firmata (mumei) che è stata sottoposta a suriage, indicando un accorciamento accurato eseguito storicamente per adattare la spada all'uso continuato. La lama misura 65,4 cm di nagasa con un elegante sori di 1,7 cm, conferendole un profilo ben equilibrato e pratico.

Lo sugata è elegante e snello, con una rastremazione morbida dal motohaba al kissaki. La lama risulta leggera e reattiva in mano, con un peso della lama di soli 672 g, rendendola particolarmente adatta come spada di maneggio in stile iaitō pur rimanendo una lama in acciaio genuino.

L'hamon, come si vede nelle fotografie, si presenta come un motivo calmo e raffinato basato su suguha con ondulazione sottile e un nioiguchi morbido e uniforme. L'aspetto generale enfatizza il controllo e l'eleganza piuttosto che l'ostentazione. La superficie dell'acciaio mostra un jihada fine e sobrio coerente con lame ben forgiate e funzionali.

Il kissaki è formato in modo netto con una transizione morbida e una geometria ben definita, contribuendo all'aspetto equilibrato e composto della spada.

Dettagli Koshirae

Il katana è montato in un koshirae completo e coerente. Lo tsuka è avvolto in ito blu scuro su samegawa naturale, offrendo un aspetto classico e dignitoso oltre a una presa sicura.

I menuki raffigurano motivi animali tradizionali, probabilmente shishi (leoni guardiani), rappresentati in un metallo dal tono caldo che contrasta in modo attraente con l'ito tsuka blu e il samegawa bianco.

Il tsuba è un semplice ma caratteristico sukashi tsuba in ferro di forma rotonda. Il suo design traforato e la patina invecchiata conferiscono una bellezza tranquilla e utilitaria coerente con i montaggi pratici piuttosto che l'eccesso decorativo.

La saya è rifinita in uno stile tradizionale sobrio, complementando il carattere generale sobrio e funzionale della montatura. Completamente assemblata, la spada pesa circa 869 g, rimanendo comoda e ben equilibrata.

Un katana mumei suriage ben proporzionato e sobrio, montato in un koshirae pratico e di buon gusto. Con il suo tranquillo hamon in stile suguha, il maneggio leggero e il classico sukashi tsuba in ferro, questa spada è particolarmente adatta ai praticanti di iaidō o ai collezionisti che apprezzano l'eleganza funzionale e l'artigianalità onesta.

Shipping and Return

Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.

We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.

If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.

Export Procedure (We manage it)

・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
