Caratteristiche della lama:
La lama è realizzata nello stile shinogi-zukuri, una forma tradizionale di spada giapponese caratterizzata da una linea di spigolo prominente e un dorso piatto (iori-mune). Il filo temperato (hamon) mostra un motivo ondulato (gunome-midare), coniugando la bellezza estetica con l'integrità strutturale. L'equilibrio e la finitura della lama esemplificano la tradizione Bizen, rinomata per l'eleganza e la funzionalità.
Montature (Koshirae):
La koshirae è progettata per completare l'estetica della lama garantendo funzionalità. L'impugnatura (tsuka) è avvolta in seta blu scuro, con menuki color oro (impugnature decorative) che aggiungono un tocco di raffinatezza. Lo scabbard (saya) è rifinito con una lacca nera ad alto lustro, che emana un'eleganza formale e sobria.

Chounsai Emura, anche conosciuto come Emura Shigetato, era un rinomato spadaio giapponese attivo durante l'era Shōwa (1926–1989). Con base a Okayama, ricopriva il ruolo di direttore di un carcere, dove ha fondato una scuola unica di fabbricazione di spade per supportare gli sforzi bellici del Giappone durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Operando secondo la tradizione Bizen, Emura ha realizzato lame di qualità straordinaria, addestrando i detenuti nell'arte della spada e producendo spade per uso militare.
Nonostante fosse un fabbro dilettante, le sue opere sono celebrate per l'artigianato eccezionale, caratterizzate da intricati motivi hamon (bordi temperati) e superfici in acciaio finemente grana jigane. Emura ha supervisionato personalmente la tempra delle lame fino al 1942, garantendo una qualità coerente. Oggi, le sue spade sono molto ricercate dai collezionisti, apprezzate per il loro significato storico, la bellezza artistica e la rarità, rappresentando insieme al prestigioso Yasukuni-to i simboli duraturi della tradizione della spada giapponese.

- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
