Questo straordinario katana, stimato risalire al periodo Edo, esibisce una maestria eccezionale e dettagli intricati. La lama presenta una curva media (Naka-sori) con una profondità ridotta, realizzata nello stile Shinogi-zukuri con una dorso semplice (Iori-mune).

Caratteristiche e dettagli aggiuntivi:
Il katana presenta una curva media (Naka-sori) con una profondità ridotta, realizzato nello stile Shinogi-zukuri con un dorso semplice (Iori-mune). La punta della lama è piccola (Ko-kissaki) e presenta una finitura spazzata (Haki-kakeru). L'Hamon è leggermente ondulato (Ko-cho) con piccole irregolarità (Ware). Contiene fine nie (particelle martensite) e mostra sunagashi (linee simili a baffi). La Jigane è una ko-itame-hada mescolata con mokume, che risaltano distintamente.
Il koshirae è ugualmente impressionante. Il fuchi-kashira, ossia il pomello e il collare, sono realizzati in shakudo (una lega di oro e rame) con un motivo a uova di pesce (Nanako-ji) e presentano un design di dragone intarsiato in oro (Kin-zogan de Ryu-zu). I menuki, ossia gli ornamenti del manico, sono grandi dragoni che inseguono una perla. Il tsuba è realizzato in rame puro in forma rotonda con un design raffigurante una carpa e una figura umana. La saya è laccata in una finitura verniciata rossa di colore vermiglio polacciato.
Contesto storico :
Il fabbro Kanemaki ha origine dalla provincia di Mino e faceva parte della scuola Seki. All'inizio del periodo Edo, si trasferì a Kanazawa, continuando il suo mestiere per cinque generazioni. La seconda generazione fu convocata a Komatsu da Maeda Toshitsune, un daimyo in pensione che risiedeva al castello di Komatsu. Le generazioni successive tornarono a Kanazawa per continuare il loro lavoro. Le spade firmate con iscrizioni come "Kashu Kanazawa ju Kanemaki" e "Kashu Komatsu ju Kanemaki" sono esempi della loro maestria. Questo katana è una testimonianza del significato storico e della qualità eccezionale che caratterizzano la stirpe Kanemaki.

- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
