Un elegante katana firmato da Fujiwara Yoshiyuki della scuola Takada a Bungo. La lama mostra un dignitoso profilo shinogi-zukuri con dolce curvatura e un vivace hamon notare-ko-midare ondulante. La forgiatura è stretta e uniforme sulla ji, riflettendo l'estetica robusta e pratica per cui Bungo Takada è ammirata. La spada è accompagnata dalla certificazione NBTHK Hozon.
La geometria è sana con un chu-kissaki ben formato e boshi chiaro. Il nakago porta una netta mei sulla omote e conserva due mekugi-ana, suggerendo una lunga vita di servizio mantenendo l'integrità. Nel complesso, la lama rimane in molto buone condizioni, adatta per la collezione e lo studio.
La spada è montata in una raffinata koshirae con toni coordinati blu e patina scura:
- Tsuba: Piastra in metallo tenero scolpita con uccelli e fiori, evidenziata con doratura; un tema raffinato e naturalistico.
- Fuchi-Kashira: Shakudō con accenti dorati; kashira decorata con motivo luna crescente e lepre che salta sulle onde; fuchi con finissimi ornamenti a rotolo.
- Tsuka: Ito in seta blu profondo su samegawa bianco; menuki figurativi visibili all'interno dei rombi.
- Saya: Saya in lacca nera lucida abbinata a un sageo marrone per una presentazione classica.
- Habaki: Habaki in rame massiccio con nitidi segni di lima yasurime.
Biografia del maestro della spada
Fujiwara Yoshiyuki lavorò a Bungo (Toyoshū) all'interno della rinomata scuola Takada. I maestri Takada producessero lame affidabili e affilate apprezzate in tutto il periodo Edo, fondendo influenze da Yamashiro e Sōshū per creare spade da taglio forti con jigane costante e hamon calmo basato su notare. Le opere firmate 「豊州高田住 (parte tagliata : 藤原義行)」 sono apprezzate per la loro forma bilanciata e la manifattura affidabile.
Storia della scuola
La scuola Takada formò una delle stirpi più produttive di Kyūshū. Originaria del Bungo medievale, il gruppo continuò attivamente nell'Edo, fornendo robuste spade apprezzate per le prestazioni pratiche. Le caratteristiche tipiche includono forgiatura ordinata, bordi temperati resilienti in notare o dolce midare, e sugata conservatrice e ben proporzionata, tratti ben rappresentati da questo pezzo.

Shipping and Return
- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
