Questo impressionante gendaitō giapponese è stato forgiato tradizionalmente in Shōwa 42 (1967) dal maestro di spada Yoshimori (善盛), che lavorava alle pendici del Monte Kirishima. Il nakago è chiaramente firmato e datato, confermando l'autenticità come spada giapponese forgiata a mano.
La lama misura 67,2 cm di nagasa con un elegante sori di 1,7 cm, creando una silhouette elegante e ben equilibrata. Con un solido motohaba di 31,5 mm che si assottiglia delicatamente verso il kissaki, la sugata si sente potente ma raffinata, supportata da un peso della lama molto gestibile di 758 g.
Nelle fotografie, l'hamon si presenta come uno stile midare attivo con un nioiguchi luminoso e puro, mostrando un'ondulazione vivace lungo la ha. La superficie della lama mostra una trama audace e caratteristica coerente con un'impressione ō-hadamono, e la finitura complessiva evidenzia meravigliosamente l'attività dell'acciaio sotto la luce.
Il kissaki è sapientemente modellato con una linea geometrica nitida, e la transizione verso la punta è morbida e ben eseguita, rafforzando il senso complessivo di qualità e artigianalità accurata della spada.
Dettagli Koshirae
La spada è montata in uno straordinario, ben coordinato koshirae nero. La saya è rifinita in lacca nera e dotata di un leggero sageo di colore chiaro che aggiunge un elegante contrasto. La tsuka è avvolta in ito nero su nodi di samegawa bianchi pronunciati, creando profondità visiva intensa e una presa salda.
La tsuba è una guardia in ferro di design sukashi con un profilo arrotondato e delicatamente lobato. È decorata con raffinati nunome-zōgan in oro con motivi a fronda e floreali (compresi elementi in stile crisantemo), conferendo al montaggio un aspetto classico di alta qualità senza essere eccessivamente vistoso.
Il fuchi-kashira continuano questo tema, mostrando un lavoro decorativo assennato che si abbina naturalmente all'estetica della tsuba con fronda floreale intarsiata in oro. Nel complesso, gli accessori si sentono coesi e appropriati al periodo, enfatizzando l'eleganza classica giapponese.
Un habaki in rame ben realizzato completa il montaggio nella forma tradizionale corretta.
Impressione complessiva
Un esempio elegante e convincente di un gendaitō del periodo Shōwa, che combina un vivace hamon midare, un carattere dell'acciaio audace e un koshirae particolarmente attraente evidenziato da una tsuba sukashi in ferro con decorazione nunome in oro. Forgiato da Yoshimori nella regione di Kirishima, questo è un pezzo da collezionista forte con un'eccellente presenza in mostra.

Shipping and Return
- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
