Este katana japonés es una hoja sin firma (mumei) que ha sido sometida a suriage, indicando un acortamiento cuidadoso realizado históricamente para adaptar la espada para su uso continuado. La hoja mide 65,4 cm de nagasa con un gracioso sori de 1,7 cm, dándole un perfil bien equilibrado y práctico.
El sugata es elegante y esbelto, con un estrechamiento suave desde el motohaba hasta el kissaki. La hoja se siente ligera y receptiva en la mano, con un peso de hoja de solo 672 g, haciéndola especialmente adecuada como espada de manejo estilo iaitō mientras sigue siendo una hoja de acero auténtico.
El hamon, tal como se ve en las fotografías, aparece como un patrón tranquilo y refinado basado en suguha con ondulación sutil y un nioiguchi suave y uniforme. La apariencia general enfatiza el control y la elegancia más que la ostentación. La superficie del acero muestra un jihada fino y subdued coherente con hojas bien forjadas y funcionales.
El kissaki está limpiamente formado con una transición suave y geometría bien definida, contribuyendo a la apariencia equilibrada y serena de la espada.
Detalles del Koshirae
El katana está montado en un koshirae completo y coherente. El tsuka está envuelto en ito azul profundo sobre samegawa natural, ofreciendo una apariencia clásica y digna así como un agarre seguro.
El menuki representa motivos animales tradicionales, probablemente shishi (leones guardianes), representados en un metal de tono cálido que contrasta atractivamente con el tsuka-ito azul y el samegawa blanco.
El tsuba es un simple pero característico tsuba de hierro sukashi de forma redonda. Su diseño calado y pátina envejecida le dan una belleza tranquila y utilitaria coherente con los accesorios de espada prácticos más que con el exceso decorativo.
El saya está terminado en un estilo restringido y tradicional, complementando el carácter sobrio y funcional general del montaje. Completamente ensamblada, la espada pesa aproximadamente 869 g, permaneciendo cómoda y bien equilibrada.
Impresión General
Un katana mumei suriage bien proporcionado y discreto, montado en un koshirae práctico y de buen gusto. Con su hamon tranquilo estilo suguha, manejo ligero y tsuba de hierro sukashi clásico, esta espada es particularmente adecuada para practicantes de iaidō o coleccionistas que aprecian la elegancia funcional y la artesanía honesta.

・Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

・These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
Shipping and Return
- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
