Order, Japan Post (EMS) has temporarily suspended all commercial deliveries to the United States.
As a result, we are now shipping through alternative private carriers. Unfortunately, these services are considerably more expensive. Therefore, we kindly ask our U.S. customers to contribute a portion of the shipping cost — $200 per order.
Please note that delivery times will also be longer, as we must obtain a custom shipping quote from the carrier for each sword. We currently estimate a 3–4 month delivery window.

Este impresionante gendaitō japonés fue forjado tradicionalmente en Shōwa 42 (1967) por el maestro herrador Yoshimori (善盛), trabajando en las estribaciones del Monte Kirishima. La espiga está claramente firmada y fechada, confirmando su autenticidad como una espada japonesa forjada a mano.
La hoja mide 67,2 cm de nagasa con un elegante sori de 1,7 cm, creando una silueta elegante y bien equilibrada. Con un motohaba fuerte de 31,5 mm que se estrecha limpiamente hacia el kissaki, la sugata se siente poderosa pero refinada, respaldada por un peso de hoja muy manejable de 758 g.
En las fotografías, el hamon se presenta como un estilo midare activo con un nioiguchi brillante y limpio, mostrando una ondulación vivaz a lo largo de la ha. La superficie de la hoja exhibe una textura audaz y característica consistente con una impresión ō-hadamono, y el acabado general destaca la actividad del acero hermosamente bajo la luz.
El kissaki está nítidamente formado con una línea geométrica nítida, y la transición hacia la punta es suave y bien ejecutada, reforzando el sentido general de calidad y cuidadosa artesanía de la espada.
Detalles del Koshirae
La espada está montada en un llamativo y bien coordinado koshirae negro. La saya está acabada en laca negra y equipada con un sageo de color claro que añade un contraste elegante. La tsuka está envuelta en ito negro sobre nódulos pronunciados de samegawa blanco, creando una profundidad visual fuerte y un agarre firme.
La tsuba es una guarda de hierro de diseño sukashi con un contorno redondeado y suavemente lobulado. Está decorada con refinado trabajo de nunome-zōgan dorado con motivos de desplazamiento y florales (incluyendo elementos de estilo crisantemo), dando al montaje una apariencia clásica y de alto nivel sin ser excesivamente llamativo.
El fuchi-kashira continúan este tema, mostrando trabajo decorativo de buen gusto que se empareja naturalmente con la estética de desplazamiento floral con incrustación dorada de la tsuba. En general, los herrajes se sienten cohesivos y apropiados para la época, enfatizando la elegancia clásica japonesa.
Un habaki de cobre limpiamente hecho completa el montaje en forma tradicional apropiada.
Impresión General
Un ejemplo atractivo y convincente de un gendaitō de período Shōwa, combinando un hamon midare vivaz, carácter de acero audaz, y un koshirae particularmente atractivo destacado por una tsuba sukashi de hierro con decoración nunome dorada. Forjado por Yoshimori en la región de Kirishima, esta es una pieza de coleccionista fuerte con excelente presencia en la exhibición.

・Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
・Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
・These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
Shipping and Return
- Swords are shipped from Tokyo, Japan. We manage all the procedures to export the sword.
- You can't return sword to Japan because procedures are too strict.
- We work with a shipping company that have experience with Nihonto so you don't have to worry.
- Please check the rules of your country before importing the sword. We do not take any responsibility, including (not limited to) refund, due to the above reasons.
- We can NOT cancel an order once, we already applied for the export authorization. As this document is made to customer name.
We have shipped authentic Japanese swords to the USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Australia. If you don’t live in these countries and like to order, please contact us first before purchasing. We normally ship by EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
If you live in the UK, please contact us BEFORE order.
Export Procedure (We manage it)
・All our swords are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items,we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 1 to 3 months for that step.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
